Overview

This learning guide provides a basic overview of the general characteristics, structural features and development of neutrophils. It describes the functional mechanism and the clinical significance of neutrophils as well as discusses the common qualitative and quantitative abnormalities of neutrophils. The function and clinical importance of immature granulocytes is also outlined.
